Family is coming!

So I can't remember if I mentioned this but I grew up in Shepherdsville, Ky. A VERY SMALL town outside of Louisville. It is an amazing town. I moved to Memphis with my mom but the rest of my family stayed behind in good old KY. It really sucks. I miss my family. It also sucks that Baby girl won't get to see her family as much. We do try to make it up there every 2 months, but we rarely have visitors. It does hurt a little but at least they pay for our trips up there :-) Oh and we do hope to move up there one day. Anyways on to my point.....I am very close to my Cousin Jennifer. She has been like a second mother to me and now kids that at only 31 she is Baby girl's Granny! LOL! But really she is the only one who comes to visit us. She was just here for Baby girls birthday on the 18th and she is heading back today! We really truly understand each other. I wish so much that she could just move here and be with me all the time. She is who I call every day on my 45 mile drive home from work. She always talks to me.
I'm not sure what we will do this weekend. I do know my husband will be duck hunting as always! So it will be a "girls" weekend with me Jennifer, Baby girl, and my mom when she wants to tag along. There are talks of going to the casino to enjoy the seafood buffet. I know I am having Baby girls 1 year old pictures taken probably on Friday. I can't wait. I could have her pictures taken every month and it would never be enough for all the family. Jennifer said we could stay in all weekend and dine on Beanie Weenies and she would be happy just to be here. AWWWWE! That is so sweet. Oh and I have a new comforter on my guest bed I can't wait for her to see that I got for Christmas. Well I am off at 5:30 today and don't have to be back until 8:30 Monday morning so everyone please have a safe and happy New Year. Don't drink and drive and be sure to buckle up!

I'm not so great at this.....

Well it's official. I have a terribly boring life. My daughter is the only excitement I really have. She turned 1 on the 22nd and we celebrated on the 18th. She got so many nice things. She is loved by so many people. I seriously have a toy store in my house. Then a few days later CHRISTMAS. Again she got so much. She took 7 steps on the 17th. This was the most yet. Luckily I was off work from Wednesday all the way to Monday. We did have to take baby girl to the doctor for her 12 month shots. She didn't laugh so much this time though :-( I am back at work now but I get off again from Wednesday to and have to back Monday. My brother in law flew in on Thursday from Panama. This was only the 2nd time I have ever met him and baby girl liked him too. See what I mean...very boring. Hopefully I will have something exciting soon. Maybe you get better at this with time and experience. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

My Kid has boycotted SLEEP!

Sorry out there to anyone who may be reading I have not updated. I have just started putting my baby girl in her bed. She did great for 4 nights then had several bad nights and is back to doing good again now. I had to shoe her who is boss and let her cry it out Sunday night. It worked because she slept in her bed last night. She is so sweet but so sassy. I couldnt ask for a better kid.
Me and my mom went Christmas shopping Saturday and we got so much of it done. We found a newly opened store called DIRT CHEAP and it is true by its name! I got a deep fryer as her gift for 12.00, a back pack for Baby girl for 3.00, a pack of 26 Pampers designer diapers for 3.80. They have some awesome deals and is for sure my new favorite!
My husband also shot his first deer of the season! I am so happy this will save a lot of money on groceries! He was way happy because he didn't get to hunt much last year because I was pregnant with baby girl then needed him home after I delivered because of my c-section. He helped out a lot and went every once in a while when his mom or mine could sit with me and baby girl.
i'm also considering doing baby girls birth story later today if I have time. I need to document it while it is fresh in my memory! hopefully I get better at this blog thing as time goes by. Bye for now!

Thank GOD for my mom and zofran!

I took my daughter Monday to get a flu shot and she laughed! She is 10 months old and thought a shot was funny! She is sooo weird. She takes after her mommy! Anyways I am so sick to my stomach again. No, I'm not pregnant. I have an IUD and took a test to be sure. It was negative thank God. I can't handle any  more babies now. Later for sure though.
Anyway, I went to a different doctor yesterday than I have been going to. I fell so much in love with my obgyn during my pregnancy he now sees me for everything, but he is about 45 minutes from my home so I went to the doctor I saw before I got pregnant. He is such a joke. He diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome. I went in complaining of nausea. Wrong end Buddy! Then he proceeded to write me scrip for........constipation. So I only had one of the three filled. Zofran. My magic pills. I love them and become frightened if I don't have any available to me, and I got 10 refills yesterday! YES! Anyway I am feeling somewhat better today and am back at work.
Isn't it funny though how before you are a mom you can stay home from work lay back watch t.v. and feel sorry for yourself and then you have a child. If you ar Sick or not you have to take care of them before yourself. My daughter IS WILD. By the time I got to the back at the doctor my BP was 151/80! I have never had high blood pressure and shouldn't at 22 but I do now Thanks to Mattison! I finally gave up and went to mom's yesterday so I could get some rest while she chased the WILD ONE! Thanks God for my mom and Zofran. On a good note it is FRIDAY and I have nothing more to do then go home and get caught up on laundry and cleaning. That's ok though.

My first post!

Hello everyone! I am new to the blog world. I recently started reading and decided I should try it. I'm a 22 year old working mom and wife to my high school sweet heart. We have been married for 2 years and together a total of 7 years!  I work full time as a bill collector for a student loan agency and have been in collections for about 5 years. My husband and I married on August 1st 2008. We had a small ceremony with plans in the works to have a huge blowout the following year on our 1 year anniversary. A few months before we started talking about having children. My husband and myself are adopted and I had this terrible feeling we wouldn't be able to have a baby on our own. We were both only children and I was scared to death that we would have to adopt so we decided to begin trying in case we would need to adopt later we would still be young enough to do it. Well what do you know, I was pregnant the first month after years of never using any protection. I was happy and scared and then it hit me, I would be right at 5 months pregnant at this huge vow renewal I had already planned and paid for out of my own pocket. All $10,000.00 worth of it! My sweet little girl kept me very sick through month 7 so I lost 12 lbs and didn't start showing until the day after my vow renewal. I that kid she knew just how much mommy wanted it and kept me skinny to fit my dress. I had a perfect pregnancy, if you don't include the fact that I was sick the whole time pretty much and not to mention the fact that I have a serious phobia of throwing up. I had to deliver by c-section. My daughter arrived December 22nd, 2009 and she is now 10 months old. She is truly the most amazing thing in my life and being a mother is too. I have to work full time though to help support our family. I am so lucky to have my mom as a babysitter for free though. I don't know what we would do with out her. My mom is truly my rock! You won't believe the funny things that happen to me and I can't wait to start sharing. Being a mom has become my whole life. I have my child every moment I am not working even though I have unlimited free babysitting. please ask any questions you think of. I will probably post a few times a day, we will see though!
